Wexford Senior Hurling Selector JJ Doyle says the start of today’s (Sunday’s) Leinster Final will be critical as Kilkenny have the capability to inflict damage if given a lead.
Speaking to KCLR, JJ says it’s important they settle into the game from the very start.
“The most recent example of it was the Round Robin when they played Carlow and they had the game over after 10 minutes and we have seen it down through the years where they have blown teams away in the first 15, 20 minutes, and it comes back to our lads settling into the game, and not letting the occasion and not getting caught like a rabbit in the headlights where they don’t really know what’s happening,. we can’t afford that to happen on Sunday’s and it’s all down to the lads executing that plan now on Sunday”.
