Barrow Rangers Junior Hurling manager Kevin Fennelly says that they two huge obstacles to overcome if they are to win the Junior Championship.
Barrow Rangers play Mooncoin in Sunday’s County Junior Semi-Final, and speaking to KCLR, Kevin says that Mooncoin’s strength in depth makes them favourites.
“They seem to have improved as the year went on and the subs they brought in against Galmoy, they seem to finish stronger. They only beat the Emeralds with the last puck of the ball. By their own admission, were very very lucky to win it in the end. It could have been over before they got the last goal, but overall they should have been maybe 7 or 8 points up that day at half-time against the Emeralds and I think there was no argument over which was the best team. Mooncoin were the strongest team. We have two major jumps if we are going to win a Final. It might be a bit beyond us but like we are there, and at least we will have a rattle at it”
