Work Rate is the key ingredient for Dicksboro so far this season

KCLR analyst Michael Walsh says that Dicksboro will continue to be hard to beat if they maintain their work-rate.

Speaking to KCLR while reviewing the Club matches from the last two games, Michael says anything can happen if they can win their Quarter-Final clash.

“Dicksboro have been first and second the last couple of years as well. I suppose the League Final is coming up against O’Loughlin Gaels now and that’s a match that both teams will want to win.

“There is a rivalry there, but the big one then is the Quarter-Final and Dicksboro in a good position at the moment but that’s the big match, and everyone of the lads will know that as well can get over that, anything is on then.

“So far, you can only go on what you have seen, and it’s a been a hugely impressive first five games for Dicksboro. Some matches they have had to dig it out, and in any other matches like the other night, they were on top from the word go.

“They have a nice panel and if they continue to work hard, they won’t be easy to beat,” said Walsh.

KCLR analyst Michael Walsh says that Tullaroan will have learned from the experience of last years one-point Intermediate Championship Semi-Final defeat to Carrickshock.

Speaking to KCLR, Michael says that Tullaroan are the team to beat in this years Championship.

“Tullaroan would have felt they lost that match in controversial circumstances and maybe in hindsight, they might also say that decisions will come and go and you don’t like it when they go against you, but I suppose a little bit of experience will tell them that just to be a little bit calmer in the circumstances and they are showing that from experience.

“They certainly have the players both experienced and young to make a huge impression. They were the form team of last year.

“Everyone expected them to win it and they got caught for whatever reason in that semi-final. For me, they are the team to beat in this Division,” he added.
