Young Irelands Intermediate Hurling Manager Kevin Fennelly is reading nothing into St. Martins non-performance in last weekend’s Shield Final against St. Lachtains of Freshford.
Speaking to KCLR, Kevin doesn’t think think they have any advantage over Sunday’s opponents.
He said “I don’t think so, I think it might give them an advantage because they spared a lot of their players last weekend”.
“John Mulhall and Johnny Maher and three other forwards like so they had the Championships firmly in their minds and that’s all they were thinking, they had no interest in the Shield Final and from that perspective like I mean they rested their better players so their heads are in the right place”.
