Provincial Towns Cup: Kilkenny and Tullow draw home games for round 2

Having secured byes into the second round of the Provincial Towns Cup, Kilkenny and Tullow have drawn home fixtures for Round 2 of this year’s junior rugby cup tournament.

Carlow won’t feature having been knocked out in the first round against Cill Dara on Sunday.

The draw of the next round took place at Roscrea RFC at the weekend and pits the following teams against each other with games set for 21 February.

Tullow will have had nearly a month off rugby by the time their clash with Naas comes about, their next league fixture not due until the weekend after on 28 February. Kilkenny, however, will be well warmed up with a trip to Suttonians this Saturday on the cars before hosting Ashbourne at Foulkstown on Valentine’s Day, both games rescheduled from cancellations earlier this season.
