Let the games begin.

The draw for the 2018 Bank of Ireland Provincial Towns Cup was held in Ballsbridge on Saturday lunchtime and has thrown up a number of interesting ties but no real derby clashes.

All three local sides – Kilkenny, Carlow and 2017 champions Tullow – are in the mix with 26 other teams in Leinster. First round games will take place on the weekend of 21 January.

Kilkenny will face Boyne at home, Carlow have been handed an interesting tie on the road against Gorey while Tullow will begin their defence of the Provincial Towns Cup away to Naas 2nds.

Wicklow have been chosen as the host club for the 2018 Final.
