The GAA have finally published their master inter-county fixtures list for 2022

The new split-season approach means that the average inter-county season length for each county has been reduced from 35 weeks to 26 weeks.

The All-Ireland Hurling Final will be played on July 17 with the All-Ireland Football Final one week later on July 24th, which is the 30th Sunday of the Year.

The 2022 Allianz League fixtures have also been confirmed.

Carlow begin another season in Division 4 of the National Football League on Sunday 30 January with a 7 pm throw-in against London.

Kilkenny will meet Antrim in the opening round of games in Division 1B of the National Hurling League on Sunday, February 6th while Carlow begin their Division 2A campaign in Ballycran against Down. Both of those games have a 1 pm throw-in time.
