Darren O’Neill says he is in good nick as he goes in defence of his National Heavyweight title tomorrow night(Friday) in the National Stadium.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of what he hopes to be a 7th consecutive National title, Darren feels he is getting back to full strength.

“I have been doing a lot in the club helping out the club at home so the last few weeks, I suppose Dad (Ollie) has been focusing a little bit more on me and getting me back to my Boxing skills and get me back Boxing how I should be at the top level, so I mean look last Friday night, again it was another big strong awkward opponent but generally happy overall.

“We did some very good stuff and then just one or two little bits obviously that need improvement on but I think we are in good nick going into Friday night and we will be looking forward to it”
