Tullaroan Marathon Race Director Vincent Guthrie says the fact the event has become an annual event has made preparations an awful lot easier.
Speaking to KCLR, Vincent says the whole parish has been very supportive.
He said “It’s seamless now, we are in year six. The first year I think was our biggest year of preparations and we might have been going into the unknown as to what we were going to get and how many, but now the whole parish from day one have been behind this”.
“Everyone from Shopkeepers, Publicans, Farmers everyone have rowed in and everyone does their bit, it’s nearly at the stage now where everyone knows what they are doing themselves and they just go and do it”.
