Kilkenny’s intermediate Camogie team have a chance to repeat the success of the minor team by capturing an All Ireland championship this weekend.

They take on Antrim this Sunday from 2pm live from Croke Park, and will be only one of the five games offered by KCLR this weekend.

Last time these two sides faced off, the black and amber fell to their Northern opponents, despite this optimism seems to be high in the camp. We have heard from players such as Leann Fennelly, Ashling Curtis & Antrim’s Lucia McNaughton  here at Scoreline however when we chatted to Kilkenny manager John Scott he was keen to focus the attention back on the players again.

“At the end of the day, I only put the things in motion. They have to perform, they have do all the hard work, we just stand on the sideline. I would do anything for these girls, they deserve everything they get, they are a great team.

Tune in this Sunday for Martin Quilty and Aine Fahy on commentary, but if you cannot wait for your camogie fix until then, why not check out out new camogie podcast below, Camán Caint.
