Kilkenny Intermediate player Leann Fennelly says the loss to Antrim in the league really hurt them and they’re using it for motivation for the All Ireland Final.

The cats take on Antrim on Sunday in Croke Park from 2 pm.

Speaking to scoreline.ie, Leann says they learned a lot from that loss.

“It was a long trip up to Antrim and you know we had a lot of time to reflect on that journey back down so it was something that I think we bottled going into other games and especially the last game against Cork,” said Leann.

“We learned a lot from it and we learned a lot about ourselves and team has really built on that too, we definitely will use that (for motivation) but we’ve learned a lot and grown since then as well and hopefully that will stand to us in Croke Park,” she added.

We have full live commentary of the game here on KCLR.
