A place in the All Ireland schools hurling final is at stake today for two Kilkenny schools.

Its down to the final four in the Croke cup competition with both semi finals to be played today at 2pm.

St Kierans College make the trip to Tullamore for their clash with St Brigids Loughrea while Kilkenny CBS are in Portlaoise as they take on Our Ladys Templemore.

St Kierans College manager Tom Hogan says they’ll need to be at their best today to beat St Brigids Loughrea…..

“We know very little about them, we saw them last week in their quarter final against St Colemans of Fermoy and they won that day”

“They were actually five points down and they fought back very well and they won by a couple of points in the end, so look, at this stage of the competition, every team you play are going to be very good, so we’ll have to be at our best if we want to beat them”

The winners will meet in the final in Semple Stadium on Sat March 25th.
