All-Ireland Sunday for Kilkenny’s senior hurlers and thousands of hurling fans has come around again, as well as ourselves here at KCLR towers.

We’ve been up the walls with match buildup, coverage, preparation, interviews, training, quizzes, fundraisers, events and loads more, but on Sunday it all comes down to what happens on the pitch.

We’ll be bringing you live commentary and analysis as part of a packed day on KCLR.

Starting at 9am and continuing live until midday it’s Ken and Stephen live from the Best Western Plus Academy Plaza Hotel, just off O’Connell Street in Dublin. A mecca for Kilkenny fans on the morning of the game, we’ll be chatting to travelling fans, supporters, former players, taking live music and more all the while the Academy Plaza crew get supporters fed for the day ahead.

Roddie takes over from 12-2 for KCLR Classics, spinning top hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s while taking your All-Ireland requests ahead of the game.

From 2, we’re over to Scoreline to find out what’s happening on the ground locally before jumping to Croke Park from 2.30 to link up with Brendan, Michael and Kevin and get set for throw-in at 3.30pm.

Our live commentary is with thanks to Affidea, Kilkenny and continues right up to the final whistle, post match analysis, interviews and reaction.

From 7pm we’ll be replaying the game through to the final whistle again before Thomas Maher keeps the tunes going until 10, with Johnny Barry taking over into the wee hours.

You’ll find the match on 96-96.9FM on air, online at kclr96fm.com or take it in your pocket (and into the stands) via the Irish Radioplayer app.
