Games are coming thick and fast in both Carlow and kilkenny. Naomh Eoin and St. mullins was Fridays featured showcase and for Saturday all attention was on Carlow again.

KCLR were at Netwatch Cullen Park again, this time to report on the game between Ballinkillen and Bagenalstown Gaels in the JJ Kavanagh Carlow Senior Hurling Championship at 6.45pm. Ballinkillen came out firing registering a four points unanswered in the first ten minutes before Owen Roberts hit the back of the net creating a seven point gap. Craig Doyle got Bagenalstown Gaels first point on 19 minutes, and followed up with four converted frees. The first half ended 1-09 to 0-05, with advantage going to Ballinkillen.

Bagenalstown came out firing in the second half scoring four answer points after Ballinkillen registered one early on. The game became very tight before Ballinkillen pulled away again to finish the game eight points clear on 1-19 to 0-14. Craig Doyle was awarded Man of the Match by Brendan Hennessey and Terrance Kelly.

Naomh Eoin took on Naomh Bríd at 7pm in McGrath Park. The game was a draw at 1-03 each until Naomh Eoin pulled ahead and Anthony Hogan registering a hatrick. The game finished

In Kilkenny KCLR had Eddie Doyle and Paddy Dalton out and about providing updates on the Erins Eoin v Clara game and Graigue Ballycallan v James Stephens.
