The 2022 Camán Caint Intermediate Team of the Year, sponsored by Killaree Lighting Services, was announced at a special live event at Dicksboro GAA on Friday night.

In all, 32 players were nominated for the team of 15, representing clubs at intermediate level in the Kilkenny Camogie county championship. Having fallen at the final hurdle last year to Barrow Rangers, James Stephens maintained an unbeaten run across the championship that has – at least at time of writing – propelled the club to this year’s county title, the Leinster intermediate title and a place in this year’s intermediate club All-Ireland semi-finals on 10 December.

Rower Inistioge, St. Claire’s, St. Lachtains, Emeralds/St. Annie’s, Danesfort, Lisdowney, Mooncoin, Mullinavat, Glenmore and O’Loughlin Gaels were all represented among the nominees.
