This weekend marks one of the highlights of the Kilkenny GAA calendar as the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling League comes to an end.
It’s all to play for in Group A with all six teams potentially moving up or down the table depending on their results on Sunday.
Group B could not be more different in that regard as all the sides involved will finish in their current position (with the exception of O’Loughlin Gaels and Glenmore, both of which can only finish in third or fourth) irrespective of what happens this weekend.
That means Bennettsbridge and Dicksboro have booked their spots in the league and shield finals, while James Stephens and Graigue Ballycallan find themselves in a relegation battle.
How to follow
The first clash of the weekend is certainly not one to be missed.
Old rivals James Stephens and Dicksboro go head-to-head in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday at 3pm in what promises to be an intense city derby.
We’ll have full live commentary of that game on KCLR with Brendan Hennessy and former Kilkenny All-Ireland winner Adrian Ronan.

We will also be live from Callan tomorrow from 3.30pm as county champions Ballyhale Shamrocks face Tullaroan with a league final place up for grabs.
That doesn’t mean we’ll be ignoring the remaining four games, however.
There will be live updates from Erin’s Own and Mullinavat’s tie, Lisdowney’s clash with Clara, Glenmore’s meeting with O’Loughlin Gaels and Bennettsbridge’s match with Graigue Ballycallan.
It’s a day not to be missed, and we’ll have it all covered on Scoreline.
