The final of the unraced 525 is the feature at Kilkenny track on Friday night.

Asian Prophet and Sawdust Hondo are two of the ones to watch in the race that gets underway just after 8.30.

Kevin Hennessy from Boylesports told scoreline that some of these dogs have a bright future.

“This is the end of the unraced series, a really nice end to the competition,” said Kevin.

“I think one or two of these could go on to be top open class, Asian Prophet is definitely one, Eoin McKenna just had a weekend to remember, Asian Prophet got it off to a flyer on Friday night in town there”.

“He wouldn’t be the best with early pace but he paced up well to the corner and once he got up and lead up he was always going to be very hard to beat”.

Hard one to call

“Sawdust Hondo had a length and a half in the fastest semi-final win, 29.24 was the time, the two of them look to be the main protagonists in the final for me, I think the winner will come from one of those two but I wouldn’t go against Murty’s dog (Sawdust Hondo), I think if Murty’s dog, if he could smarten up in the traps, is more than capable of leading up Eoin’s dog (Asian Prophet)”.
