Ballinkillen kill off Erin’s Own Senior Championship challenge as MLR & Naomh Brid claim IHC wins

In the J.J. Kavanagh & Sons senior hurling championship Ballinkillen defeated Erins Own by 0-16 to 0-8 at Netwatch Cullen Park yesterday evening.

This means that Erins Own are out of this years championship.

The semi-final teams are Mt. Leinster Rngs, Ballinkillen, Naomh Eoin, and St. Mullins, However it will take the last two games in Round four to decided who plays who.

This weekend will decide that when St. Mullins play Mt. Leinster Rngs and Naomh Eoin take on Ballinkillen.

In the J.J. Kavanagh and sons intermediate hurling Championship there were wins for Mt. Leinster Rngs and Naomh Brid over St. Mullins and Naomh Eoin respectively.

It finished Mt. Leinster Rngs 3-26 St.Mullins 0-10 and Naomh Brid 2-17 Naomh Eoin 2-13.

Naomh Brid, Mt. Leinster Rngs, Naomh Eoin and Carlow Town are through to the semi-finals with the pairings to be decide after the next round.
