Carlow hurling analyst Terence Kelly says this weekend’s round of senior hurling championship games will be tasty.
We’re down to the last round of normal games with places in the semi-finals up for grabs.
Bagenalstown Gaels and Mount Leinster Rangers clash at 2 pm on Sunday while all eyes will be on Ballinkillen against Naomh Eoin which is at 3.45 pm (Live on KCLR and Scoreline)
Terence says that will be a great clash.
“Ballinkillen have been a little unlucky, with the injuries they have,” said Terence.
“Naomh Eoin’s second-half performance the last day was hugely impressive, the first half was sluggish enough, Marty (Kavanagh) put on the Marty show in the first half, but in the second half Naomh Eoin just stood up to it, they had belief in themselves, they were a little unlucky that they didn’t get at least a draw out of it,”.
“Who will win the second match? ( Naomh Eoin v Ballinkillen), if you were to give me a tenner as a free bet I’d probably put it on Naomh Eoin,”.
