Ballyhale Shamrocks defender Richie Reid says he would be available for an All-Ireland Semi-Final the first weekend of January providing they win the Leinster Senior Club Final against St. Mullins.
Richie along with Kilkenny Senior Hurler Paul Murphy has departed for the Lebanon as he is on Peacekeeping duty with the Army for the next 6 months, and speaking to KCLR after Saturday’s comprehensive victory over St. Martins in the Leinster Semi-Final, Richie says he is back home on leave on Christmas.
He said “I will see. I would love to be around for the Leinster Final”.
“I am going to be back for Christmas so hopefully the boys will pull through a Leinster Final and I will be back for an All-Ireland Semi-Final the 4th of January because I am back on leave there for 3 weeks for Christmas”.
