Carlow Senior Footballer Brendan Murphy says there is plenty of positivity in the camp after recording a 4th consecutive victory in the National League in Waterford on Saturday.
Carlow had to hold off a determined Waterford fightback, and speaking to KCLR after the game, Brendan says that they are now winning games in situations where they may have lost in previous times.
“There is a lot of positivity around the place now at the minute and I think the Carlow of old, while we wouldn’t have been in the position now that were in anyway, we might have slipped and dropped the heads and let Waterford come back into it completely.
“But lads have experience there, John Murphy, Sean Gannon, Eoghan Ruth, Darragh Foley, boys like this, Daniel St Ledger, all have wise heads and we are kind of united in our goal and we just need to get ready now for Wicklow,” he said.
