Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler DJ Carey says that Brian Cody is still very much the best man for the Kilkenny job.
DJ says that no other manager would have got Kilkenny to an All-Ireland Final this year.
He said “Well I am hoping it’s a guarantee, I am hoping that Brian will take it on again, at the end of the day I haven’t heard too many Kilkenny people calling for Brian to give it up, I hear a lot of outside people looking for him to give it up, but I wouldn’t be taking that too serious. Brian Cody as far I am concerned is the best man to take this Kilkenny Team forward.
