Camán Caint is back for a fourth season, starting a little bit earlier this year and making a return to Tuesday nights in its all-new ‘award-winning’ guise.

If you missed the news in recent weeks, the podcast was named the recipient of the Digital Promotion award at this year’s Camogie Association Media, Volunteer and Referee Awards. It’s the second straight year KCLR have been recognised at the awards, a first for the podcast and the third for the station overall since our first entry in 2016 for the then KCLR Fanzone, also a winner of the Digital Promotion award.

This week, Martin’s back in studio with Áine and Lillian to discuss the CCAO action of the week with the Ashbourne weekend upon us, so we’ll hear from Jack Dunphy on that and the announcement that the Division 5 cup will be named in memory of the late Ashling Murphy.

We’ll also take a look back at the awards in general from this past weekend and delve into some talking points on the lack of sanctions relating to the abuse of officials on and off the field.
