Camogie Preview – Carlow and Kilkenny get ready for battle in Division 2 of the National League

Theres a big local derby in Division 2 of the league as Carlow and Kilkenny clash on Sunday.

The game throws in at one o clock in Piltown.

Kilkenny Intermediate Camogie Manager Mike Wall says they’ve lost over 20 players from last years panel but are confident of doing well in the league this year

Carlow are coming into Division 2 on a high after winning the League, Leinster and All Ireland Finals last years but Carlows Kate Nolan says while it was great to have such a successful year last year, its back to business now.

In Round One of the League last weekend, Kilkenny drew with Down however Carlow lost out 0-09 to 0-07 in their game.

Elsewhere Kilkenny are in Division 1 action when they face Waterford at 2.30 also in Piltown.

Kilkennys Minors face Clare away while Carlow entertain Westmeath.
