A former recipient of the Young Player Of The Year award, Denise Gaule has experienced the highs and lows with Kilkenny in the world of camogie and this Sunday hopes to put to rest a 22 year wait for the O’Duffy Cup.

Gaule spoke to KCLR at Kilkenny’s recent open night ahead of the All-Ireland senior camogie final against Cork.

Is there a big performance saved for Sunday?

“I think we all believe that we can put in a big performance once we work hard. Cork are a superb team and it’s going to take a massive effort to put it up to them on the day so we’re all just looking forward to it, relishing the opportunity to go back to Croke Park. Watch the full chat below.

Kilkenny v Cork will be live on KCLR from 3.50pm on Sunday with thanks to Affidea, Kilkenny, and marks the third in a triple header of games this Sunday afternoon.
