The Carlow U20 hurlers begin their Leinster championship campaign this weekend.
The Barrowsiders travel to Laois Hire O’Moore Park on Saturday to take on Kerry at 12pm.
They are in the same group as Laois and Kildare with a strong start crucial if they are to have any aspirations of advancing to the knockout stages.
Another trip to Laois awaits following their clash with the Kingdom and their Tier 2 Group 2 fixtures end with a home tie against Kildare.
