Carlow & District League Youths Selector Bernard Mullen says their is no pressure on them to get the result required against Limerick on Saturday in the Inter-League competition.
Carlow require a 5-0 victory on Saturday to keep their competition hopes alive and speaking to KCLR, Bernard says the unexpected could happen when you least expect them.
He told KCLR Sport “The lads themselves know the two guys over them, Muzzy and Dean have never put pressure on the guys from day one and they have just really bought in to what the two lads are trying to do with them, and I am hoping that they go out and show what the talent that they have got”,
“At club level we are seeing it with them at outside competitions and what not, and it’s just that little bit of luck that is needed when you move onto that next level and on the day. Football is a funny game when you least expect it, you could get that result that you go chasing, there is no pressure on anyone to do it and it’s a time like that when you could get it” he said.
