Carlow hurler Craig Wall says they need to improve by up to 20% if they are to defeat Kildare in Newbridge on Sunday.
The sides clash in St Conleths Park in Newbridge on Sunday at 2pm.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s victory over London, Craig says next Sunday’s game will be their biggest challenge of the year so far…..
“Yeah definitely like, Kildare are a very strong team, they beat Westmeath their as well, and they will be there or thereabouts with the League with us and Antrim so with the players they are after getting in from outside counties and all, Kildare will be a strong team and we will definitely have to up it another 10 or 20%”
“Yeah, like every game now is a must win game to get the chance to play Kildare to have another chance for the League Final”
“We have two games left and we need to win at least one if not the two to get to the League Final and the game against Kildare now is a huge game there, it’s the biggest game of the year so far anyway and we will treat it with the respect that Kildare deserve”
We have live commentary of the game with thanks to Rea’s Department Store in Bagenalstown.
