Former Carlow Senior Footballer Willie Quinlan says that winning their homes games is essential if they are to have a chance of gaining promotion back to Division 3.
Speaking to KCLR after last Saturday’s defeat to Wexford, Willie says there was no excuse for such a disappointing performance against Wexford.
He said “Without a doubt, the homes games, you have have to win the home games if you are to have a chance and Wexford will be very happy after winning this one, I mean Carlow the performance was really really poor, you have you to say even last weekend against Wicklow the performance was poor, but we put that down to (Paul) Broderick – getting sent-off in the first minute – but no excuses, there is lots to work on for Carlow and we need to work really really hard for next weekend”.
