While Carlow did not win any senior trophies in the 2015-16 season, the club was named as Junior Leinster Club of the Year. Also the club under Pat Slater’s Presidency continued to chip away at its legacy debt.

For the coming season new President Justin Hannon said that the on field priority will be to gain promotion into section 1B of the Leinster League. On club infrastructure he is looking towards the installation of new floodlights.
