Carlow football selector Tommy Wogan is relishing the challenge of facing Louth.

The sides face each other in Portlaoise on Saturday at 5pm in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.

Carlow lost out to Louth in the League 2-17 to 1-7.

Speaking to KCLR, Tommy Wogan says they have taken a step forward ” Of course we will, I think like you know, the league game we were disappointed with how it turned out , but I think we’ve improved.

We have come on in the other league games and we know what to expect from Louth now, I don’t think their team is going to change much from the league game and we’re looking forward to it.
