St. Pats Boys Soccer manager Brian McDermott is delighted to have a very strong squad available for the visit of Sheriff in Sunday’s last 16 Leinster Junior Cup clash.
Speaking to KCLR, Brian says they are looking forward to a different challenge.
“We are missing two lads who would normally start, two or three lads who would normally start, but that gives a chance for lads to maybe step up and stake a claim, but overall like we have a very strong squad available for Sunday which I am delighted about. The lads are really looking forward to it now, it’s something different from I suppose playing teams in Carlow and that they know inside out”.
He said “Sheriff they are bit of an unknown quantity for a lot of the lads, but despite the fact that they know how successful they have been over the last three or four years in competition”.
