Last week’s rescheduled Stryve Carlow U20 knockout games have been moved again due to freezing conditions.
Tonight’s A quarter-finals and B semi-finals were called at lunchtime today due to frozen pitches, the A games due for the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh with the B semi-final heading for Tinryland.
While a new date for the B semi-final will be decided shortly, the A quarter-finals have been refixed for this Sunday, a decision we imagine given the conditions of the week remains weather dependent.
With temperatures dipping as low as -5 to -8 degrees tonight and remaining cool across the weekend, it is hoped that Palatine and Mount Leinster Rangers will meet at 11.30am in Fenagh on Sunday morning with Bagenaltown Gaels and Clonmore moved out at 7.30pm on Monday, also in Fenagh.
This weekend’s senior football relegation final between Conahy and James Stephens has also been pulled from the fixtures list and will instead be played in the new year.
