James Stephens’ early start this Saturday in their AIB club intermediate All-Ireland semi-final just got a little earlier.

Previously scheduled for a 12pm throw-in at St. Brendan’s Park in Birr against Galway champions Castlegar, John Scott’s side will now take to the field at 11.30am on Saturday morning. You’ll be able to follow that game live on KCLR and Scoreline.ie with a special preview show heading to this week’s Camán Caint podcast with a new episode out on Tuesday.

On the opposite side of the draw, Down’s Clonduff take on Clanmaurice of Kerry in Kinnegad, that game with a 2pm throw-in time.

The winners will advance to this year’s AIB Intermediate All Ireland Club Championship final on Saturday 17 December with Croke Park playing host.

A number of James Stephens players were also included on this year’s Camán Caint intermediate team of the year announced on Friday with Emma Manogue collecting overall intermediate player of the year.
