Charleville Intermediate Hurling manager Ben O’Connor says that Eddie Brennan is a great role model for the game.
Eddie will be involved in the starting 15 for Graigue-Ballycallan’s All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Semi-Final game against Charleville on Saturday afternoon, and speaking to KCLR, Ben says that Eddie has been totally dedicated and committed throughout this career…..
“Yeah, sure like I suppose if you look at it, Eddie is a hurling man through and through”
“There aren’t too many fellas now playing in the first team with their clubs at 40 plus years of age, and it just shows the way he looked after himself over the years and like any injury he got, he recovered back from it fairly lively after it and obviously he isn’t a socialiser that he can still be competing at this level”
“It just shows he an all round hurling man when you see him still playing with his club and been involved in an Inter-County set-up, that takes a fair share of time and I am sure he’s a busy man outside that as well”
