The running order for the equestrian Individual Show Jumping Final today (Wednesday) has been confirmed.

The final will take place at 11:00 am (Irish time), and the athletes will go in reverse order from yesterday’s results.

Cian O’Connor and Kilkenny (ISH) will be 6th to go, 25th into the ring will be Bertram Allen and Pacino Amiro (ISH), while Darragh Kenny and VDL Cartello will be second last (29th) into the ring.

Kilkenny was bred by the Brennan family in Gowran.

Speaking after Tuesday’s qualifier, Cian O’Connor spoke about the atmosphere for young horses like Kilkenny and how they adapt to it:

“He really grew to this atmosphere, and it might be strange to talk about the atmosphere when there are no people here but with the lights on and the spooky jumps, everything is new,” said Cian.

“It can press a young horse. He was excellent and I think he will get better and better each day. I can’t wait for it.” he added.
