By some distance, Easter weekend is the busiest one yet this year for Kilkenny hurling fans.
The county’s minor, U20 and senior sides are all in action with a lot on the line for the Cats.
If you can’t get to all of the games, we have you covered on KCLR.
The action gets underway on Friday evening when Niall Bergin’s minor team play host to Galway at UPMC Nowlan Park at 5pm.
Following two straight defeats of Antrim and Laois respectively, a victory for the home side would see them advance to the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Hurling Championship semi-finals.
Saturday brings with it the first round of the O’Neills.com Leinster U20 Championship for Kilkenny.
Mark Dowling’s side make the trip to Chadwicks Wexford Park to take on Wexford at 2pm and we’ll have full live commentary of their opener on KCLR.
From 5pm on Saturday, we’ll be previewing the Allianz National Hurling League Division 1 final between Kilkenny and Limerick.
There will be an exclusive interview with Kilkenny captain Eoin Cody before we get the thoughts of Cats manager Derek Lyng and the Irish Examiner’s John Fogarty looks ahead to the mouth-watering repeat of last year’s All-Ireland final.
All roads lead to Cork on Easter Sunday as Páirc Uí Chaoimh will be the setting when the first major piece of silverware of the season is handed out.
As always, KCLR will have full live commentary of that game from 2pm while our build-up to the decider will begin immediately after the 1pm news.
In addition, we’ll have post-match reaction from all three games.
KCLR is the only place where you can hear all of Kilkenny’s Allianz National Hurling League, Leinster championship and All-Ireland series games in 2023.
