Treaty United from Limerick, Yola FC from Wexford and two Dublin sides Irish Sea FC and St Francis FC have all apparently applied to take part next season in the League of Ireland First Division.

Apparently absent from the application process is Carlow Kilkenny FC. However fans keen to see some LOI action in the area may take joy in online speculation that we may be getting a return to Buckley Park in the next few years.

PRO Paul Brophy will be on KCLR Sunday scoreline from 3 p.m. where we will be asking the questions. Is it a sign that the club are looking new Football Staff for the 2021 season. They are recruiting in the areas of Coaching,Video/Match Analysis and S&C. If interested you can Email [email protected] for more info.

Speaking of the first division the SSE Airtricity League promotion/relegation play-off final is this Sunday. Shelbourne v Longford Town, with kick-off at 2.30pm. The match is being streamed live for free on WATCHLOI so if you can work for home, you’re advised to due to the current lockdown restrictions.
