The dates for this year’s Carlow club hurling and football championships have been finalised, making for a busy run through the summer and autumn in the county.
While some of the senior football league divisions will be wrapping up this week, including Rathvilly and Naomh Eoin in the Division 4 final, the JJ Kavanagh & Sons junior hurling championship is already underway.
With games starting this past Saturday evening, St. Mullins were 2-18 to 0-07 winners over Naomh Eoin while Burren Rangers beat Palatine 0-22 to 0-15.
Senior and intermediate games get started this weekend.
