Dicksboro Senior Hurling manager Mark Dowling says their Final league match against Carrickshock on Saturday evening is going to be a huge test despite their opponents having lost all four matches.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of tomorrow evening’s clash, Mark says last Saturday’s game against Mullinavat was a closer game than the final scoreline indicated.
“The game was tight enough up to half-time, we were lucky to get a goal just before half-time which gave us a bit of a cushion.
“Mullinavat brought it back again before we managed just to kick-on a little so yeah look, it was good to get that win.
“The determination I hope is there to win every match and we will just take it match by match, not looking further ahead than Saturday’s match against Carrickshock.
“That will be another huge test so that’s as far as we are willing to look at any stage,” he said.
