The FAI Junior Cup third round draw took place earlier (Monday) with eight local sides left in the competition’s Wexford/Kilkenny/Carlow/Wicklow division.
St. Canice’s will have to wait a few days yet to find out their third-round opponents but Carlow’s New Oak Boys and Killeshin FC have secured home ties against Gorey Rangers and North End United (both Wexford) respectively. It’s Kilkenny v Carlow for Evergreen as they welcome Crettyard United to the Kells Road while we’ve got a Kilkenny derby in the last local feature with Bridge United, sending Thomastown packing at the weekend, heading for Fort Rangers.
