The Drive For Liam Radio Quiz is back for 2019.
As has become tradition ahead of Kilkenny making an All-Ireland hurling final, the biggest radio quiz in the land returns this Tuesday night (13 August).
Clubs and pubs in every parish across the county will be hosting teams competing for coveted All-Ireland tickets and a trip to the USA.
What is the Drive For Liam Radio Quiz?
It’s a giant table quiz to support Kilkenny GAA. Rather than ask the questions in one venue, we broadcast the quiz on air with all venues tuned in.
A club or venue representative will collect all the scores from each round, submitting them back to the team at KCLR HQ to track everyone’s performance.
We start the proceedings on air at 8pm with the questions kicking off at 9pm, the quiz running until 11pm.
There will be six rounds of questions with an audio question in each round. At the end of the night, the team with the most points is declared the winner. If there are teams level on points, we’ll go to a tie-break until we have a winner.
The Drive For Liam Radio Quiz is brought to you on air with thanks to Callan Truck Parts.

If you can’t make the quiz but want to get out to join us, you’re invited to Matt The Millers, John Street Kilkenny, this coming Friday 16 August for a special live All-Ireland preview show from 8-10pm.
