Dunnamaggin Junior Hurling Selector Johnny Ryan says that training on St. Stephens Day proves how enthusiastic the squad are.
They’re preparing for Sunday’s All-Ireland Junior Club Semi-Final clash against Cloughduv of Cork.
Speaking to KCLR, Johnny says they are determined to make the most of this opportunity.
“We trained Stephens Day, that’s how enthusiastic the players are, they are mad for it” says Johnny.
“They can’t wait for Sunday to come. We really enjoyed Christmas, but at the same time, the work has to be done, it’s all about work, you cannot take your foot off the pedal”.
He said “You just have to keep going the whole time because it’s an All-Ireland Semi-Final, we might never get there again and you get one opportunity, it’s like life, you make the most of it”.
