Having been removed as a precaution at half time during Kilkenny’s win over Dublin last time, goalkeeper Eoin Murphy is the one change for the Cats ahead of the visit of Waterford to UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday.
A point should see Kilkenny through to a league semi-final next weekend but nothing is written in stone with the Déise jockeying for the same honours. To add to the occasion, Sunday’s clash will be preceded by the VERY Camogie League Division 1A clash between Kilkenny and Cork and we’ll have both games live on air on our Kilkenny frequencies from 11.30am.
With Murphy sitting out, St. Lachtain’s Darren Brennan will deputise meaning Shamrocks’ Dean Mason will take a place on the bench. Walter Walsh and Richie Hogan are in reserve again. As expected, there is no place for Adrian Mullen as he continues recovery from the injury that ruled him out of the Club All-Ireland final win for Ballyhale in February.
