Evergreen A Manager Gary Maher says that their ultimate priority is to win the FAI Junior Cup.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s last 16 clash at home to VEC, Gary says they are determined to achieve a target they have never achieved previously.
“No disregard to anything locally in Kilkenny. We have won a number of Leagues over the last couple of years” says Gary.
“We won a treble last year, we won the shield for the last 7 or 8 years so our target is to win stuff that the club has never won and we want to be at the latter stages of the National Competition and we are still there, we are in the last 16 and we have a home tie albeit against very difficult opposition this Sunday”.
The Evergreen Manager said “It’s a major priority for us is something that we want to do, we want to make our own bit of history and we want to go on and win one of these competitions and we are still there at this stage”.
