Evergreen and Thomastown United are both in Leinster Junior Cup Quarter-Final action on Sunday.

Evergreen travel to Wexford to play Gorey Rangers, while Thomastown United are at home to Sportslink Ailesbury.

Evergreen have been unbeaten locally in more than a year, and they began the competition last September with a 14-0 hammering of Drimnagh Celtic, 8 goals was the order of the day in the 2nd round away to Kildare Town when winning 8-2.

The inclement weather delayed the next round but Evergreen prevailed 3-2 against Ayrfield.

They defeated Kentstown 5-0 while in the last round, they took a big scalp defeating last years Leinster Cup holders Collinstown FC 3-2.

Kick-off in Wexford on Sunday is at 2pm.

Meanwhile, Thomastown United’s defense has been watertight in the competition conceding only two goals in 4 games.

They began their Leinster campaign with a 1-0 win over Sandyhill Shangan, before defeating Killenagh Wanderers 3-2.

Two more 1-0 wins followed against Howth Celtic at home in the last 32, before defeating Firehouse Clover 1-0 in the last 16.

Both Evergreen and Thomastown United will feel confident of reaching the semi-final at around 4pm approx on Sunday.
