Evergreen’s first team are back training in preparation for the Leinster Junior Cup.
The Kilkenny side defeated shamrock rovers on penalties in the last round, and a clash with either Crettyard United or Usher Celtic awaits.
Evergreen manager Gary Maher is looking forward to the whole club returning at all levels:
He said “Yeah we have unbelievable facilities out there and we are working at the moment and looking at all the FAI guidelines and there is going to be change”.
“We have over 700 playing members, something that we are very proud of and something that we want to facilitate once we get the go ahead and go back in the next few weeks. We want to facilitate football for all our members from U6’s up to Junior, so we are looking at all the guidelines at the minute and putting all the measures in place to make sure that everyone can return in a safe manner”.
