Here we go again!
Tense times for Carlow Footballers and supporters as the lads get ready for another push at promotion to Division 3 of the National Football League.
2019 was the last time Carlow took the step up before being relegated at the hands of Laois.
This Saturday, Carlow has the home advantage with Louth making the trip to Netwatch Cullen Park for the game at 4 pm.
On Sunday, the other semi-final between Waterford and Antrim takes place at 12.15 pm in Fraher Field.
As those teams are all out in championship action the following weekend, the winners of the semi-finals will be promoted to division 3 next year with no league final taking place.
Louth was relegated from division 3 last year so will be anxious to take the step back up.
How they reached the semi-finals
Carlow has had two wins this year with a 3-16 to 0-10 defeat of Waterford in Fraher Field.
They had a narrow win then over Wexford at home coming out on top 2-12 to 2-11.

Louth has had two wins and one defeat this year.
They lost out to Antrim narrowly in their opening game 1-15 to 3-8 but turned it around against Leitrim winning 0-19 to 0-10.
They got the better of Sligo then on a scoreline of 3-18 to 1-14.

Antrim V Waterford
Antrim was last in Division 3 in 2017 while Waterford was last there in 2011.
Antrim beat Waterford in the League over the last three years. Waterford’s last League win over Waterford was in 2008.
