O’Loughlin Gaels Senior manager Aidan Fogarty says it’s going to be a big challenge if they are to defeat Erins Own Castlecomer in Saturday’s Senior Championship Quarter-Final.

Speaking to KCLR, Aidan says that matches between the two teams are always close contests.

“We played them quite a bit over the last number of years. Games have always been very very competitive, very very tight, very little between us so it’s going to be a big challenge for us at the weekend. We are under no illusions that we need to perform well if we are to defeat Comer at the weekend.

“They are always a very very difficult team to beat, they are a skilful team, they work hard, they have a good team ethic, we have always found it hard to beat them and I don’t think Saturday is going to be any different,” he said.
