Former Carlow Senior Footballer Willie Quinlan says Wexford are in bother already having lost their opening Round National League clash to Antrim last weekend.
The two counties clash in Chadwicks Wexford Park at 2pm this afternoon (Saturday), and speaking to KCLR, Willie says that Carlow will be in a very strong position for the rest of the League if they pick up another victory this afternoon.
He said “It would really set them up and Wexford seem to be in a little bit of turmoil”.
“A new manager coming in there, I think he dropped one or two of last years so called big players, and one or two other guys walked away so they were beaten against Antrim away last weekend and you have to win your home games, no matter what happens, if you lose a couple of your home games, you are in big bother and Wexford are in bother already losing one game to Antrim so if Carlow can pick up two points on Saturday, it would really set them for the rest of the League”.
